Day 5: Meditation
Today there will be two recordings, one for a chocolate meditation and one for a candle meditation. While the wording will be specific to each, you could use the recording as a guide to practice a wine or gin meditation for example.
For the chocolate meditation, you will need a small bar of chocolate, you can make it a fancy one or it can be the last chocolate button in the bag. You can do this meditation wherever you find most comfortable.
For the candle meditation, light a candle and sit a few feet away from it in a comfortable position. Darken the room if you can but not to pitch black, and ensure the candle is safe from falling over, catching a blanket, pets, etc. The meditation is around ten minutes long so please ensure you have enough candle to last.
How did spending time thinking about the chocolate or the candle change your opinion about it? Did you find a new appreciation for what it is and how it comes to be? Think about and write down anything else you might like to meditate on. This might be a picture, a favourite song or a unique flower in your garden.
